Jeanette Nguyen, APRN
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Hello! My name is Jeanette Nguyen, and I am a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my dual master's degree from Georgetown University where I graduated summa cum laude. Prior to that, I worked as a Registered Nurse at a high-volume labor and delivery unit in Texas, where I cared for many clients, including high-risk pregnancies.
The field of aesthetic medicine is an exciting, growing field, and I am grateful to work as Medical Director at Skin Medex. I believe that through individualized collaboration with our clients, we can achieve optimum results while ensuring our client's safety as our top priority. I am passionate about providing our clients with high-quality aesthetic services that leave our clients feeling confident in their own skin.
I enjoy spending my leisure time with my family at the beach, hiking, or playing board games at the dinner table.
Lina Van Fossen, RN, BSN
AESTHETIC NURSE INJECTOR
Aloha! My name is Lina Van Fossen, I have been working in the nursing profession for 26 years. My profession has taken me into a variety of nursing roles such as; wound care nurse, home health care, hospital floor nurse, case manager, charge nurse, and now into Aesthetic practice.
I was given a wonderful opportunity to work alongside Dr. Melinda Menezes back in 2018. She provided the guiding steps into this thriving and multifaceted profession.
After one year of continued learning, I took the tools and knowledge I had attained and continued my journey to start a full-time position as the Clinical leader and nurse injector at a start-up medical spa on Kauai. I grew the medical spa practice into a bustling business and made many patients turned friends. In my years as Clinical leader, I continued to attend continuing education courses, hands-on training in the latest injection techniques, and traveled to the mainland to meet with prominent practitioners to follow in their footsteps. In 2023 after years of being dedicated to my practice, I decided to create my own boutique med spa space that focuses on my core values and my love for the profession.
So at the core, what kind of injector am I? I am a conservative, patient, aesthetic injector who will take the time to listen to your concerns. I will assess your individual needs. We will make a treatment plan that you understand and are satisfied with. I won’t push you into any treatment you are not comfortable with. I will use all my medical and aesthetic knowledge to get you natural-looking results. I want my patients to walk out feeling happy, refreshed, and renewed!
In my free time, which is a bit limited these days, I spend time with my dogs, cats, three ducks, family, friends, biking, hiking, and the occasional short run.
